When you sit down and look around your kitchen or bathroom, you realize custom cabinets really change how the whole room works and looks, and having the right setup makes a big difference every single day you use it. Here at Celina Cabinet Designs, we build cabinetry that is made just for your exact space, your storage, and how you like things to look, instead of just giving you some generic box from a store that was made for anyone.
We take care of the whole thing from when we first sit down and talk about the design until the final cabinet is put in place, and we work right alongside you so the wood, the finish, and the layout matches your house just right. We have a lot of hands-on experience building for kitchens, bathrooms, and built-in storage areas, and we build stuff that actually holds up when you use it day in and day out.
On this page here, I am laying out everything we do, how our whole build process works, and what you can expect when you team up with us on your cabinet project.
We built our whole name around being honest, being precise with our cuts, and paying real close attention to the small details. Every single cabinet box and door we build shows the kind of quality folks around here expect when they hire a local contractor who gets his hands dirty.
Living here in Texas, we know all about the heat and how the weather swings back and forth, and that does things to wood over time if you don't know what you are doing. We keep that in mind whenever we pick out our lumber, our topcoats, and our hinges so your cabinets stay solid season after season without giving you trouble.
We keep you in the loop right from the very start to the day we pack up our tools. I just believe that being straight with people and talking plain keeps surprises away and keeps the job moving like it should.
Project Name: The Old Celina Rift-Sawn Oak Bathroom Vanity
City: Celina, Texas
Project Cost: $4850 ( includes the custom shop build, moisture seal, delivery, and full install)

The kitchen is usually where everybody ends up gathering, and the cabinets are really the backbone of that whole room. We build kitchen cabinets around the way you actually cook, what you need to store away, and how much floor space we have to work with.
A few things we can do for you:
We build with real hardwoods like maple, cherry, and oak, or we can do clean painted finishes if that is what matches your style. We measure everything down to the fraction of an inch before we ever cut a board in the shop, so when we install them, they sit tight against the wall with no weird gaps.

Bathroom cabinets have to deal with a lot of steam and moisture, but you still want them looking real nice. We make sure to use moisture-resistant wood, glues, and clear finishes that are made to handle hot showers and humidity without peeling or swelling up.
We make custom vanities, linen towers, and medicine cabinets that fit your bathroom layout just right. When we work on smaller bathrooms, we like to build tall, narrow cabinets that go up the wall so you get a ton of storage without eating up your walking room.
For master bathrooms, people love double-vanity setups, and we build those with separate drawer banks and cabinet sides for each person. You can pick out the hardware, match it to your countertops, and pick door styles that flow right with the rest of your house.

A custom pantry cabinet setup keeps your groceries and snacks organized where you can actually see what you have. We build these around how you shop at the store and cook at home, not off some pre-made kit.
Features we build in all the time:
- Pull-out shelves made of wood or heavy wire
- Racks mounted right to the back of the doors for spices and small cans
- Adjustable shelf spacing so tall cereal boxes and bulk goods fit right in
- Deep pull-out bottom drawers for big mixers and slow cookers
We can build out a full walk-in pantry room, or we can build tall cabinet-style pantries that sit right in your main kitchen cabinet run. If your kitchen is on the smaller side, a tall cabinet pantry with pull-out roll trays gives you way more room and better access than a drywall closet pantry ever will.

Bedroom cabinetry goes way past just a closet, because we also build built-in dressers, bedside nightstands, and full wardrobe units. Doing it this way gives you storage that matches your room's baseboards, trim, and colors perfectly.
We can build right into awkward wall spaces, like under low windows or wrapping around a bedroom fireplace where store-bought furniture just looks out of place. That really helps out in older homes where the walls and corners aren't completely square.
We can match whatever style furniture you already have in the room, whether it is traditional, transitional, or more modern. A lot of folks also ask us for built-in window seats with deep drawers underneath, which look real good in kids' rooms or in a quiet reading spot.

Mudrooms take a beating every day with everybody kicking off boots, dropping backpacks, and tossing coats around. We build mudroom storage to fit how many people you have in your house and how you come and go each day.
- Cubbies: Gives each kid or person their own spot for their things
- Bench seating: A solid place to sit down and tie your shoes
- Hooks and rods: Keeps jackets, hats, and backpacks off the floor
- Closed cabinets: Hides away clutter like sports pads and muddy gear
We build our mudroom benches and cabinets extra tough because people are going to bump into them, kick them with muddy shoes, and drop heavy bags on them. We put durable finishes on these so they clean off easily and don't get scuffed up right away.

Laundry rooms have to hold all kinds of stuff, from heavy detergent jugs to baskets of clean clothes. We build laundry cabinets that fit right around your washer, your dryer, and your utility sink so everything feels like it belongs together.
We usually put upper cabinets above the machines for your soaps and stain sprays, and build base cabinets with a solid top where you have room to fold clothes. We can also mount hanging rods or hooks right between the cabinets so you have a spot to hang clothes to dry.
If your laundry room is narrow, we build slim cabinets and use wall height so you don't feel squeezed while doing laundry. And we use materials that won't warp or get ruined if water splashes on them once in a while.

Down in a basement, cabinets have to deal with cooler temps and ground moisture that regular indoor cabinets aren't built for. We make sure to pick wood substrates and sealers that handle below-grade conditions without warping or getting musty.
If you have a finished basement for hanging out, we build units that fit whatever you use the room for, like a home office desk, workout room storage, or game shelves. If it is an unfinished basement, we build heavy-duty storage that just focuses on holding weight and staying dry.
We also build basement bar cabinets for entertaining, complete with spots for glasses, bottles, and mini-fridges. We finish those surfaces so an accidental spilled drink won't ruin the wood.

An entertainment cabinet setup should give you plenty of display room while keeping all your electronics tidy. We build units that hold your television, soundbars, and game systems while hiding all those ugly cords and power strips completely out of sight.
We like to mix open shelving where you can display books and photos with closed doors down below to hide the receivers, consoles, and wiring. If you have electronics that run hot, we build vents right into the wood panels so your gear stays cool.
We also build full floor-to-ceiling entertainment center walls that look incredible in living rooms or media rooms. We trim them out to match your home's crown molding and baseboards so it looks like it was built with the house from day one.

Garage cabinets get your tools, hardware bins, and seasonal boxes up off the concrete floor. We use extra-sturdy materials for these because Texas garages get real hot in the summer and cold in the winter, and garage shelves have to hold a lot more weight than kitchen cabinets.
Some good options we build:
- Cabinets bolted up to the wall so your floor stays completely clear for sweeping
- Deep base cabinets with thick shelves that will not bow under heavy bins
- Wall sections with slatwall or heavy pegboard for hanging tools
- Built-in workbenches with drawers right under the work surface
We can build them standard height or take them right up to your garage ceiling depending on your space and where your vehicle parks. We focus mostly on strength and durability here, but they still end up making your garage look sharp and clean.

Here is what really makes the way we do things different:
We work straight with homeowners and we work with builders too, making cabinets that fit right into kitchens, bathrooms, and all sorts of odd storage spots. Our crew handles the measuring, the shop work, and the final trim on site, so you do not have to mess around trying to manage three different companies just to get one job done.
Most of our custom cabinet projects take somewhere around 6 to 10 weeks from the day we do our first consultation to the day we finish up installation in your home. That timeframe mostly depends on how big your project is, what wood species we are sourcing, and how detailed your door profiles and custom finishes are. We lay out the schedule with you on day one so you always know where things stand, and we stick to our word and get it done right.
